The Greenhorn League is an introductory instructional program ideal for people with little or no curling experience. Learn the basics in technique, rules, strategy and etiquette from certified USCA instructors.

We will provide the necessary equipment however participants must wear clean, indoor flat-soled sneakers and warm, loose fitting clothing. Classes will range from 90 minutes to 120 minutes in length.

Curling and Cocktails is a one hour instructional session where you will be taught the basics of curling along with the opportunity to play two ends of curling. After coming off the ice you will receive one cocktail from our bar while socializing with other participants. You can register as an individual or as a group (max 8 people).

Open to registered special olympics athletes, this league is an introductory instructional program ideal for people with little or no curling experience. Learn the basics in technique, rules, strategy and etiquette from certified USCA instructors. By joining this league, you get seven 2-hour classes to get you up to snuff on this "roaring" game. 

The two-hour sessions will be held on Saturday mornings from 11:00AM-1:00PM beginning on January 4, 2025 running through March 29, 2025 at no charge.

The Golden Handle is one of our oldest running mixed bonspiels at Nutmeg. Registration includes food throughout the event and an offsite party on Friday night.
