Nutmeg Curling Club provides curling events for members, non-members, and outside organizations as part of its mission to educate the public, grow the sport of curling and provide additional revenue for the operation and maintenance of the facility.

Potential groups should contact the club at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. ,or call 203-615-0077, to determine if the Club is available for use at a specific time and date. Once a date has been established, we require a 50% deposit to reserve the date. Payment for a minimum number of 16 participants is required. The charge is based on whether you have a cash bar or an open bar. We can also run a tab at the bar. Payment can be made by cash, check or through PayPal. We cannot accept credit cards at the Club.

The Club may be rented only at a time when there is no conflict with scheduled leagues and Club activities.

Event requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We request that the balance of the contract amount be paid at least 1 week prior to the event.

A minimum of 1 instructor per 8-10 people will be provided during the event. The certified instructors will provide safety information and instruction. Final numbers must be provided no later than 1 week prior to the event to insure that we have enough instructors.

Groups of juniors (ages 8-20) are allowed and encouraged. No children under the age of 8 are allowed to curl. Juniors must have at least 1 adult supervisor for every 5 juniors. We can provide curling events for Boy/Girl Scout troops.

Groups displaying unsafe or unruly behavior will be asked to leave immediately without refund.

You may bring your own food, or catered food packages are available in advance. Soda, beer, wine and alcohol are available for purchase at the Club and cannot be brought in to the Club. Alcohol may not be consumed prior to going on the ice.

The maximum capacity of the facility is 100 people, and is limited to 30 people on the ice at any one time.

YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE ELECTRONIC RELEASES IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY NUTMEG EVENT. THE LINK WILL BE PROVIDED IN YOUR EMAIL CONFIRMATION.

You also agree that you will not enter the Nutmeg Curling Club if you feel unwell. Guests who exhibit any of the following symptoms should not curl: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting.

There are no refunds or exchanges for any reason (cancellations, no shows, weather, etc) unless the event is cancelled by Nutmeg.

The club is located at 123 Glenwood Avenue in Bridgeport, CT next door to Wonderland of Ice. We look forward to seeing you at the Club!
