Thanksgiving Open House is an open house that is run over 2 days where you will get extra time on the ice to enjoy the fun of this Olympic sport.
On the first day, you learn about curling, learn how to throw a rock from technique to the rock rotation, learn how to sweep and maybe we will get to throw a rock or 2
One the second day, we will review what was discussed on Day 1, have a short Q&A session and then play a game. Each team will have an instructor to help and ask questions and advice.
There are three events you can select from:
Event 1: Friday 27th @ 6pm AND Saturday 28th @ 4pm
Event 2: Friday 27th @ 7:30pm AND Saturday 28th @ 6pm
Event 3: Friday 27th @ 9pm AND Saturday 28th @ 8pm
Please be sure to bring a pair of clean sneakers and someone will assist you in getting ready to go on the ice. Flip flops, winter boots and any other footwear will not be permitted.
Please turn up 30 minutes prior to your start time on each day. This will enable you to have maximum time on the ice and will help keep the event running smoothly.
